David Wayne Easter

Mr. David Wayne Easter, age 80, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in Marlin, Texas. Graveside service will be Monday, September 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home.

David was born March 6, 1941 in Marlin, Texas to James Edgar and Edith Carmen (Webb) Easter. Mr. Easter was a longtime resident of Marlin. He graduated from Marlin High School in 1959. David married the love of his life, Betty Davis in 1965 in Marlin. He worked as an auto mechanic for many years and retired in 2005. After retirement, he enjoyed his part time jobs at Gafford Auto Parts and Big 4 used Autos. He enjoyed spending time with his family and just being outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty Easter, brother, Kenneth Easter, sister, La Nell Smith, daughter-in-law, Shelly Janeke Easter.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Easter Ray and husband, Garry of Belton, son, Tim Easter of Moody, granddaughter, Chesney Easter of Castro Valley, California, sister, Gloria Briggs and husband, Billy of Marlin, sister-in-laws, Libba Merryman of Reagan, Earline Christian of Marlin, Loretta Easter of Marlin.
