

Born on November 1, 1961, in Liberal, Kansas, David lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and a passion for the simple joys that brought him happiness. From the young age of 14, David began his career as a lineman and foreman building power lines. Over the years, he worked for several major electric companies and became a respected figure in his field. Known for his dedication and expertise, David served as a mentor to many. His commitment to his craft was matched only by his unwavering dedication to providing for his family. David was a true family man who cherished every moment spent with those he loved.
He is survived by his devoted wife Mary Stuart (Badders) of Rosebud; his mother Timotea Stuart (Armenta) of Haskell; his sister Haskell Stuart of Oklahoma; and his brother Raymond "Bud" Stuart and wife Danny of Denton. He leaves behind a legacy through his children: son David Stuart Jr. of Rosebud; daughter Mary Stuart II and husband Frankie Thompson of Rosebud; and daughter Cheyenne Tamez and husband Semon Tamez of Wilderville. Daughter Anabelle Stuart(dog). David was also the proud grandfather of Cayci Stuart, Jaymi Stuart, Kameron Stuart, Kirsten Stuart, Kinsleigh Stuart-Thompson (all of Rosebud), Wyoming Tamez, Logan Tamez, Ryker Tamez, and Kajun Tamez (all of Wilderville). Additionally, he is remembered fondly by numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his father Raymond Louis Stuart of Haskell and his brother Tony Stuart of Hearne.
A man with many interests and talents, David found joy in fishing, hunting, camping, barbequing, playing pool and darts. He had a special fondness for Miller Lite and enjoyed unwinding at Patsy's or Deb Rose after long days at work. Whether playing cards or watching scary movies, westerns and wrestling with his grandchildren. David’s love for life shined brightly in everything he did.
In his final days, David was surrounded by the people who meant the most to him—his wife Mary; children David Jr., Mary II, Cheyenne and grandchildren who never left his side. Close friends Leilani, Savannah, Johnathan, Eddie, Dale and Deb, Nolan and Rochelle, Cooter and Steve that stuck by him through his final days.
A viewing will be held on Friday, February 7th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home located at 129 Coleman St., Marlin, Texas 76661.
Friends are encouraged to "come as you are" to honor David’s memory in a way that reflects the warmth and authenticity he brought into their lives. David Lynn Stuart will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love he shared with those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
