Doris Mildred Yarborough, age 93, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in Marlin, Texas. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2021 at Mart Cemetery in Mart, Texas with Reverend Billie Brott officiating.
Doris was born on July 8, 1928 in Ben Hur, Texas to Frank and Eula Cooper. She was a longtime resident of Marlin, Texas. Doris worked as a waitress, and a homemaker. Doris enjoyed collecting Knick-knacks, dancing and shopping. Most of all, spending time with family, and especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeannie Rogers of Waco, son, Steven Yarborough and wife, Penny of Georgetown, daughter, Doris (Waddy) Howell of Mart; grandchildren: Billy Howell of Mart, Donna Shanks of Richardson, Luke Jacobsen of Plano, Crystal Mateer and husband, Zach of Hutto, and Derek Jacobsen of Wylie, 8 great-grandchildren.
