Mrs. Johnson was born May 21, 1922 to John and Signe (Halverson) Holmberg in Duluth, Minnesota. She resided in Waco at the time of her death. Ella was a homemaker and longtime resident of Marlin. She was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed painting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy DeWitt Johnson.
Ella leaves behind her daughter, Coy Grace and husband, Shaun of Roanoke; son, David Johnson and wife, Beatrice of Marlin; grandchildren: Jenny Goldsmith and husband, Jeff of Roanoke, Amanda Kasal and husband, Jason of Roanoke, David Keith Johnson of Marlin and Renea Soto and husband, Greg of Kyle; 8 great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by her family and friends who loved her very much.
