Ernest Carl Dreyer

Ernest Carl Dreyer, age 80, of Kosse passed away Friday, November 12, 2021. He was a graduate of Riesel High School. He was born on August 11, 1941 in Otto, Texas to Carl Ernest and Florence Dreyer; they preceded him in death Mr. Dreyer enlisted into the United States Air Force at 21years of age. He came back to his community and lead a VFW Post for many years as Commander.

Ernest was a great man. He was very talented with the work he did, he had a wonderful personality and a wonderful humor about him. He always had a beautiful smile on his face. Ernest talents were many, from building homes, fixing anything, great upholsterer and a mechanic. He loved his family very much. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.

A beloved father, grandfather, and friend who loved to help anyone in need. He is survived by his brother; Nelson Dreyer, companion of 25 years; Linda Matthys, sons; Ernest Michael Dreyer and William Dreyer, daughters; Deborah Owens, Carla Harwell and Jennifer Dreyer and 6 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
