While I did not know Helen in her adult years, I did share some wonderful teenage years together. My favorite memory of her was when she "talked" me into going to a party with her. We snuck out of the house when we thought the parents were asleep. What we didn't calculate on was the full moon casting our shadow on our parents bedroom. She was always so full of life that you always wanted to join in on her adventures.
She also taught this awkward teenager the love of different genres of music. She definitely was an old soul. Sending prayers to her family during this difficult time.
