

Indalecio Benitez-Aguirre, 77, of Marlin passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Marlin with Father Greg McLaughlin as celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 29th at the funeral home. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.
Mr. Benitez-Aguirre was born on October 22, 1944 in Tejupilco de Hidalgo, México, Mexico to Valentin and Nicolasa Aguirre Benitez. He married Maria L. Elizalde on January 1, 1965 and they celebrated over 57 wonderful years together. Mr. Benitez-Aguirre was a very kind, humble hard working man, well respected and honored by everyone that knew him; very loving and caring man. He loved ranching, his cattle and horses in Mexico but his true love was his family. Mr. Benitez-Aguirre retired from Cargill in Waco after 25 years of service. He was a warrior until the end. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Lazaro, Mateo,and sister Eva.
Survivors include his wife; Maria Benitez, sons; Rutilio and Hector Benitez and his wife, Linda, sister; Vicenta Benitez, brothers; Salomon Benitez and Isabel Benitez, grandchildren; Erica Abigail, Rutilio Jr., Hector Jr., Anna Lee and Omar Eduardo Benitez.
