

Visitation will be held Friday, December 27 from 6pm to 8pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marlin. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be Saturday, December 28 at 2pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the committal service to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Father John Guzaldo will officiate the Mass with Father John Kelley to assist.
James was born April 14, 1965 in Marlin, Texas to parents Ted and Cora Wilganowski. He was raised in Marlin, attended Marlin schools, and graduated from Marlin High School. Following high school James enrolled at what used to be Texas State Technical Institute (TSTI) in Waco and earned his Master’s in Plumbing. James has been the owner and operator of Fischer and Company Plumbing Service since 1988. He was a member of the Marlin Men’s Civic Association, the Falls County Go Texans and a member of the Knights of Columbus. James was fun loving guy that enjoyed life. He loved to go dancing, loved playing golf, and enjoyed entertaining people in hopes of bringing a smile to their faces. James loved the Lord and was very strong in his faith. He was faithful in his church attendance. James was loved by so many and he will be greatly missed.
James is now with his heavenly Father and in the company of his beloved mother Cora Lou and his grandson, Mark Anthony Wilganowski who both preceded him in death.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Lori Wilganowski; children, Amber Robertson and husband Scott, Justin Wilganowski and wife Kassie , Katherine Wilganowski, Shelby Krumnow and Heston Krumnow; father, Ted Wilganowski ; sisters, Sheila Compton and husband Jason and Janet Sirkel and husband Charles; grandchildren, Aiden and Lillian Robertson; 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 1 great niece and other extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Roberts, Louis Schroeder, Tim Haigood, Reggie Markowski, Roger Drews, Rockney Terry, David Stein and Richard Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tristin Compton, Aaron Roberts and Aiden Robertson.
