

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., April 6, at Hillcrest Cemetery with Brother Jack Bodenhamer officiating. The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service at Adams Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a procession to the cemetery will take place.
Jimmy was born March 10, 1945 in Lott, Texas to William Isham and Edna(Worthen) Guest. He attended Chilton High School and served in the National Guard Armory in Marlin, Texas for 4 years. Jimmy worked for William Cameron Mills, T.G.’s Auto, and Time Manufacturing. Fishing, camping and hanging out with his close friends were his favorite things to do. Jimmy loved to spend time with his family especially his granddaughters. He would attend their sporting events, plays and teach them how to fish. He never met a stranger and will always be remembered by his fun loving personality. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Guest; and siblings, Bennie Shaw and Bob Guest.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years Linda Guest; daughter, Cindy Hendrix and husband Danny; granddaughters, Shelbie and Sheyenne; brother, Tommie Guest and wife Sandra and several nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank First Baptist Church of Elm Mott, Blue Bonnet Hospice and staff especially, Paula, Jake, Jenny, and Nikki for the out pouring of love and compassion shown in their time of need.
The family would also like to thank Dr. Michael Loden of Providence Family Health Clinic Lakeshore for his care of Jimmy through the years and Mary Ann and Pete Stinson for their love and support.
