John L. Faulk

John L. Faulk, 93, of Chilton, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Ward Street Church of Christ in Marlin with Brother David Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 9th at Adams Funeral Home.

Mr. Faulk was born on October 4, 1921 in Abbeville, Louisiana to A.J. and Estelle (Broussard) Faulk. He married Mary Grace Miller on August 14, 1940 in Lyford, Texas and they celebrated over 74 wonderful years together. Mr. Faulk was a very hard worker; he loved to farm, hay baling, and fishing. He was a member of Local 211 Pipefitters Union and Ward Street Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister; Euna Casey.

Survivors include his wife; Grace Faulk of Chilton, son; John W. Faulk and his wife, Jo Ann of Chilton, granddaughter; Tonya Perkins of Chilton, sisters; Eunice Mouton of Lafayette, Louisiana and Annabel Jones of Lyford, Texas and stepsister; Dolly White of Uvalde, Texas.
