John C. Jobe

John C. Jobe, 87 of Marlin entered into rest Sunday, July 22, 2012. Graveside service will be 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Taylor’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Paul Rawls, Rev. Joel Davilla, and Rev. Steve Putman officiating. The family will receive friends Monday 6 pm to 8 pm at Adams Funeral Home.

J.C. was born August 29, 1924 in Van Zandt County to H.C. and Ethel Christian Jobe. He was a resident of Falls County for 48 years and a member of The Gospel Lighthouse Church. J.C. loved to hunt, fish, and play dominoes but his greatest love was his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

J.C. was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Jobe May 17, 2011.

Survivors include his daughter Martha Nowaski and husband Tim; sons, Curtis Jobe and special friend Linda Minor; David Jobe and wife Linda; Sam Jobe and wife Charlotte; Terry Jobe and wife Trina all of Marlin and Richard Jobe and wife Linda of Stillwater, OK; 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
