Laura Ann Brown Huseby

Visitation will be Friday, February 14 from 6pm to 8pm at Adams Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 15 at 11am in the Adams chapel. Rev. Arthur Allen will officiate.

Laura was born April 6, 1940 in Marlin to parents Raymond and Johnnie (Allen) Brown.

She attended local schools, graduated from Marlin High School and attended business school. Laura worked as a book keeper for many years for ARA Living Centers and retired in 2005 for Mariner Healthcare. She married Frank W. Huseby, Jr. on October 8, 1960 and together they had 2 daughters, Michele and Lori. Sadly, Frank passed away in 1975 while in the military, leaving Laura to raise their 2 daughters alone. Laura loved her children with all her heart and doted on her 2 grandchildren. She was also a true sports fan and dearly loved the Texas Rangers. Laura will truly be missed by her family and her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Johnnie; her husband, Frank and very recently, her son-in-law, James Wilganowski of Marlin. She is survived by her daughters, Michele Huseby of Palmetto, Florida and Lori Wilganowski of Marlin; grandchildren, Shelby and Heston Krumnow; sister, Charlotte Wilson and husband Harold; 2 nephews, Tim Wilson and Greg Wilson and wife Lorie; great-niece Ashley Wilson and great nephew, Jackson Wilson, as well as a host of dear friends.
