Lauro "Lalo" Lopez, Sr.

Lauro Lopez, Sr., 75 of Satin, Texas passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025. He was welcomed into the world by his parents, Federico S. and Maria Simona Lopez in Hebbronville, Texas. Lauro lived a full life, enjoying his family, friends and acquaintances.

He is survived by his wife; Josephine, daughter; Yolanda, son; Lauro Lopez Jr., uncle; Santiago and aunt; Paula Pina, his beloved grandchildren, his nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Lauro was preceded in death by his mother; Maria Simona Tapia, stepfather; Manuel Antonio Tapia and his biological father; Federico S. Lopez.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin, Texas with Rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with Military Honors being provided by Fort Hood Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be Shane Hobbs, J. Jordan, Fernando Mena, Michael Mitchell, Lauro Elijah Lopez, Enrique Pina, Nathan Meador and Wendell Crunk, Jr. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers Santiago Pina, Joe Mena (Jojo), David Gonzales, Andreanna Meador, Erin Meador, Victoria Gonzales and Jessica Ann Mena Feliciano.
