Lesa Reneau

Lesa was born on December 10th, 1960 to Martha and Kenneth Reneau in Marlin. She graduated from Marlin High School. Lesa met Sylvester DeLaCruz and they had 2 children, Derek DeLaCruz and Dalton DeLaCruz, who they raised lovingly together until Sylvester’s death.

When Lesa had her sons, she decided to dedicate her life to being a devoted and wonderful mother. Lesa excelled at supporting her family through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether she was helping Derek through fatherhood or supporting Dalton while he served the Navy, Lesa was always there. Her family was her greatest joy.

She was also a well-known figure in Marlin, working at HEB for many years, and anyone who saw her could expect a smile. Lesa was the life of the party, and always knew how to make someone laugh. We will miss her immensely.

Lesa was predeceased by Martha Reneau, Brenda Moehlmann, Kenna Moore, Sylvester DeLaCruz, and Samara Moon. She is survived by her son Derek DeLaCruz, wife Megan and 2 grandsons, Finnick and Salem; son Dalton DeLaCruz; and her aunt Doris Reneau. She is also survived by her extended family of stepchildren: stepson Jason DeLaCruz; stepdaughter Angela DeLaCruz and her daughters, Kristin Lara Gutierrez, husband Ramon and son Leo, Ashley Lara Arevalo, husband Colby and son Rory, Taylor Lara, Lauren Trujillo, and Kamryn Trujillo; stepdaughter DeAndra DeLaCruz and children Savannah Satchell and Jaxon Hampshire; stepdaughter Cassie DeLaCruz; stepdaughter Kristin Moon, husband Jeffrey and sons Sebastian and Devon; stepdaughter Adrian Robles, husband Ronald Fulbright and children Haley and Marley Maas; stepson Jonathan Robles and wife Marina; niece Chrystal Myers, husband Jason and son Garrett Sulak; niece Misty Manini, husband Austin and daughter Kenna; and nephew Michael Moore Jr.
