Michael Janeke, 64 of Marlin entered into rest Friday, July 27, 2012. Services will be 11:00AM Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Dhanwar officiating. A graveside will follow with military honors at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 6PM to 8PM Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Adams Funeral Home.
Michael was born January 31, 1948 in Marlin to Stanley John and Alyce Inez Hay Janeke. He retired from the United States Navy after 22 years of service. Michael was a member of the VFW.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, James Thomas.
Survivors include his sister Janet (Jan) Anders and husband Lee of Waco; brothers John Janeke and wife Martha of Waco; Richard Janeke and wife Ann of Reagan; Aunt, Joyce Allen of Marlin; Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
