Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson, 51, of Marlin entered into rest Friday, October 19, 2012 in Temple. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Monday, October 22, 2012 at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin with Rev. Virgil Echols officiating.

Michael was born April 22, 1961 in Sumpter, SC to Roy Robert and Betty Hutto Johnson. He loved to fish, listen to music and watch football, he had a special love for the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all he loved his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Linda Johnson of Marlin; daughter, Melissa Hatcher and husband Eddie;

son, Sheldon Cody Miller and fiancé Ashley; grandchildren, Brooke Johnson, Bailey Johnson, Blaine Hatcher, Jordan Miller, and Derek Dallas, brother, Chuck Johnson and wife Missy, and sister, Theresa Thompson. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family also survive.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Scott and White Hospital, family and friends, especially Bud and Connie Dyer, Susan McMahan and Nolan Bailey.
