Pascua "Pat" Lopez

Graveside service will be on Tuesday August 5, 2025, at Chilton Cemetery with Lee Scott officiating the burial. The family will receive friends on Monday August 4, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Adam’s Funeral home in Marlin.

Pascua “Pat” was born May 2, 1943, in Marlin to Ventura Lopez. He retired in 2007 from Alcoa Power Plant where he was an operator for 26 years. He loved listening to music, visiting and having a cold beer with family and friends. He also loved watching football, boxing and enjoyed watching his grandson play baseball. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his mother Ventura Lopez and his beloved wife of 38 years Janie Lacina Lopez.

Survivors include daughter, Kandy Lopez of Rosebud: son, Chris Lopez and wife Jennifer of Rosebud; grandson, Dustin Fox and wife Jordan of Groesbeck; grandson, Tracer Lopez of Rosebud; great-grandsons, July and Jaxon; his sister Maria Melendrez of Marlin; also survived by nephews, nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers are Dustin Fox, Tracer Lopez, Bill Jones, Daniel Melendrez, Jeremy Melendrez, Pee Wee Portillo, Frankie Portillo and Phillip Luna.
