Peggy Jones Wegwerth

Peggy Jones Wegwerth, age 80, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 in Perry, Texas. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin. Burial to follow at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Donny Fulton officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 26th at Adams Funeral Home.

Peggy was born March 24, 1937 to William Vard and Hattie (Brown) Shelton in Moody, Texas. She was longtime time resident of Falls County, Texas. Peggy married the love of her life, Ervin Charles (Mickey) July 4, 1988 in Marlin, Texas. He preceded her in death Oct. 15, 2013. Peggy retired as Plant Manager from Marlin Manufacturing 1999. She enjoyed fishing, dominoes, hand and foot card game, crossword puzzles, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ervin Charles (Mickey); son, Wesley Kent (Peanut); 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Peggy leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children, William (Billy) Jones and wife, Angie, Diane Moore and two step-children, Ervin Charles (Chuck) Wegwerth Jr., and wife, Jackie and Sandra Hengst; adopted daughter, Carla Norlie and husband, Chris; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends and special dominoes friends.
