Rachel Ann Burgett

Rachel Ann Burgett, age 39 of Marlin, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, in Waco, Texas. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church 264 CR 143 Riesel, Texas 76682 on Saturday, April 19, 2025, with Rev. Larry Knobloch officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to service time on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the church.

Rachel was born on June 16, 1985, to Robert Wayne and Donna Lynn (Bennett) Burgett in Waco, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Marlin. Rachel graduated from Marlin High School in 2004. Rachel worked as a certified Nursing Assistant from 2005- present. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church where she was baptized in 1986 and confirmed in 2000. She enjoyed being outside and most of all, gardening. She had a green thumb in planting flowers.

Preceded in death by grandfathers, Edward Bennett, Thomas Burgett, cousin, Robert Martinez.

Survivors include her son, Ryan Allen, daughter, Tara Lynn; parents, Robert and Donna Burgett, grandmothers, Alice Bennett, Wanda Watkins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to The Trinity Kitchen fund or Trinity Sew N Sew 264 CR 143 Riesel, Texas 76682.
