Raymond was born May 1, 1941 in Chilton, TX to Louie E. and Isabel Eakin Jenkins. He lived in Houston, TX where he was an Electrician for over 40 years. His passions in life were politics and travel. He especially loved Colorado and Moab, UT where he took many trips including a pulse quickening trip over Black Bear Pass.
He is survived by his son Robert Jenkins of Friendswood and daughter Dana Solomon of Houston as well as two granddaughters, Jamie Solomon and Isabelle Solomon. The family suggests that any memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
