As a little boy I remember we were all neighbors on Rickleman Street in Marlin Texas. Richard and Rebecca were backyard neighbors to My Aunt Mary and Uncle Paul Davila. We lived next door to Fred and Carmen Elfrez. Edward was my best friend as a child and into adulthood. I remember Richard bringing us all National Guard uniforms. Made our day playing Army. Edward and Danny Elfrez and Irie Cuevas and I. Richard was a generous and kind man who took pride in his family. He was a friend to my father and to my family. Thank you Richard. My condolences to the Elfrez family. In my prayers Rick and Michael. Love all. Especially your Mom.
