I’m so sorry to hear of Sammie’s passing. The day before Mama, Ella Ware Sandifer, & I moved, to Eddy, we saw Sammie at the beauty shop. We had a nice visit & she said she hated to see us go. When Mama passed away, she came to the funeral  & sat with the family. She said, I’m family & I’m going to sit here. I couldn’t help but smile & told her, yes, you are family. I remember when she took Leslie & I to the Riesel Fair. On the way home she said she was running out of gas. It scared me half to death, but she flipped a switch to another tank. I was amazed. I didn’t know there was such a thing. She will be missed. RIP sweet Sammie. 

Granny you were loved by so many. I’m truly going to miss you and your sass. I still remember spending time with you at your house and and your bbq place. I wish I could have spent more time with you in my adult years. But I am truly blessed you got to meet Harleigh. We love you so much and will forever miss you. 

Sammie was a beautiful lady inside and out! Her smile, energy, and kindness brought joy to all who knew her. May she Rest In Peace in the arms of Jesus. Praying for all of her Beautiful family for peace in your grief. Much love, Mandy 

My favorite memories of Sammie are all the times we would go out to hear Classy Baleaux perform. Sammie was right up there with her tambourine having the time of her life. She was one of a kind for sure. We will all miss Sammie and prayers go out to bring comfort to all her family during this time of grief. RIP 😇😇

Mrs. Sammie Green preceded in death by her parents, Alma Robbins Huff and Sam Robbins, her husband Raymond Green, her son Larry Green, and her sister Belle Carroway. Sammie is survived by her children, Zack Green and Barbara of Lorena Tx., Tommy Green and Brenda of Marlin Tx., and Leslie Green and Nancy of Marlin, Tx. Her grandchildren, Jason Farmer and Diana, Ashlee Ferguson and Kenneth, Pecos Smith, Nicole Reisner, Misti Swick, Lisa Nehring, and Buck, Ryan Barganier, Kyrbie White and Will, Victoria Brown and Nick, She is also blessed with several great and great great grandchildren.
