Shirley May Wilson Markowski, 80, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 in Waco, Texas. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 22, 2020 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin. The family will receive friends for Visitation at Adams Funeral Home on Thursday, May 21, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Shirley was born December 23, 1939 to John and Callie (Nutt) Wilson in Thorndale. Shirley married Ben on October 15, 1958 and celebrated 60 years before his death.
Shirley Markowski was preceded in death by her Husband, Ben Markowski; Son Kirk Markowski; Parents; Brothers, Kenneth and Otis; Sister, Betty Sue Jackson, and In-Laws, Bill and Alice Markowski.
Survivors include Son, Pee-Wee Markowski, Daughter Mary Jane Markowski, Granddaughter Callie Burgess and husband Cory; Great Granddaughter Cadence; Great Grandson Camden; Sister Annie Ethel Tebo and husband Ernie; Sister-in- laws, Nancy Wilson, JoAn Slafka, Evelyn (Edmond) Markowski, Evelyn (Fred) Markowski and many Nieces and Nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Catherine’s and Community Healthcare of Texas- Providence for the loving care given to Shirley.
