Mitch was born on August 16, 1962 to Jack and Juanita (Mitchell) Norlie in Dallas, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Marlin, Texas. Mitch graduated from Marlin High School in 1980. He served four years in the United States Air Force. He worked 10 years at University Club as a Captain. Then he worked Aramark Uniforms for 20 years in Dallas, Texas and Waco, Texas. Mitch was an avid golfer and former longtime member of Marlin Country Club. Most of all, he enjoyed being with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Mike Norlie.
Survivors include his brother, Chris Norlie and wife, Carla of Marlin; nephew, Jack Norlie of Dallas.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Humane Society of Waco.
