The Family will receive friends Friday October 19 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm with a service to follow from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin. Rev. Claudio Yepez will officiate. Celebration of life service will be on Saturday October 20, 2018 at 2:00pm at Adams Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Davila and Rev. Juvenal Salinas officiating.
Zeferino was born in Waco on August 26, 1939 to parents Luz Aguinaga Zarazua and Rev. Enrique Zarazua. Mickey was raised in Marlin and attended the Marlin schools. Zeferino worked in Dallas as a drywall contractor. In Marlin he worked for Bluebonnet Body Shop.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Paul Zarazua and Enrique Zarazua Jr.
Mickey is survived by his brother Cornelius and wife Betty from Waco, Joe from Marlin, and his only sister Janie and husband Rev. Joel Davila. Survivors also include several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be AJ Vanegas, Amos Archuleta, Edward Sowders, Richard Jaimes, Jacob Davila, and Isaac Salinas. Honorary pallbearers are Edward Sowders, Charles Cohn, Gerald Hammer and Lauro Rodriguez.
The Zarazua family thanks all the doctors and nurses who took care of Zeferino while his stay at the East 3rd floor at Providence Hospital. Also thanks to Golden Years Nursing Home in Marlin and the hospice nurses.
