Zill Isiah Harlan

Zill Isiah Harlan, 70, of Marlin, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, November 28, 2014 at Adams Funeral with Darin Davis and Jim Houser officiating. Interment will follow in Blueridge Cemetery.

Mr. Harlan was born on March 12, 1944 in Marlin, Texas to George Willington and Joanna (Mackey) Harlan. He retired from Coastal Transports in 2006 and was a lifelong member of Blueridge Baptist Church. His parents and a sister; Josephine Harlan Lloyd preceded him on death.

Survivors include his wife; Mary Lynn Harlan of Marlin, daughters; Geri Jo Fox of Mesquite and Christian Carrasco of Kaufman, brother; George Lawson Harlan of Marlin and grandchildren; Lindsay McCarver, Ethan McCarver and Elizabeth Bellotte and her husband, Nathaniel.

Pallbearers will be; Ethan McCarver, Nathaniel Bellotte, Flavio Carrasco, Kevin Fox, Ricky Lloyd and Bill Lloyd and honorary pallbearers will be; Billy White, Butch Andreski, Jimmy Erskine and Jerry Hubbard.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local 4-H or FFA Chapters or to a No Kill Animal Shelter.
