Abrynx "Abe" Leonard Dean

Abrynx "Abe" Dean passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 44. He was born on October 5, 1979 to Charles Dean (Deborah) and Maria "Cora" Robles-Santos Dean. Brother of Donna Dean and step-brother of Luke Wood (Brittney) and Roman Wood (Autumn). Uncle of Donovan Hinojosa, Jade Perniciaro and Charlei "Milo" Perniciaro. Nephew of Jack Dean (Pat) and the late Donna Dean. Cousin of Wayne Dean (Jennifer), Kristine Ballard (Brian), Diane Anderson (Doug), and Richard Feole (Kay). Former brother-in-laws Craig Hinojosa and the late Bobby Perniciaro. Abe is also survived by other extended family and friends.

Abe was an alumni of John Ehret High School, attended UNO and received a Master Gardener Certification from LSU Agriculture. During high school, Abe was in the gifted program in Art and Theater. He loved to play the guitar, paint, cook Italian food and he especially loved his cat, the late Chewie. Abe was loved and will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. Words of remembrance will begin at 7:30 PM.
