Adele Clark Burkart was born in New Orleans, LA on October 1, 1920 and she passed away on September 6, 2010 at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Burkart, Sr. and the loving mother of Darlene Burkart (Sandy) and Raymond C. Burkart, Jr. as well as the grandmother of Michael Burkart, Johnny Latham (Jennifer), Raymond Burkart, III (Katherine), Sarah Burkart and Joshua Burkart and the great-grandmother of Katelin Latham. She was the daughter of the late Henry Clark and Adeline Clark and the sister of Alvin Clark, Audrey Blevins, the late Lee Clark, Harold Clark, Henry Clark, Cyril Clark, Thelma Clark and Leona McConnell. Relatives and friends of the family, as well as the NOFD, NOPD and Ochsner Clinic Employees are invited to attend the memorial service at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA for Mrs. Burkart on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM.
