Alcida Tassin

Alcida Foret Tassin of Luling, LA passed away on Thursday afternoon, May 19, 2011 at the age of 90 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Elson (Pim) Tassin, Sr. and the loving mother of Elson J. Tassin, Jr. and Bryant J. Tassin. Mother-in-law of Ruth Ann Sanders Tassin and Jill Tregre Tassin. She was the daughter of the late Hypolite Foret and Veleda Autin Foret and the grandmother of Jay Tassin, Nicole Tassin Cedotal, Kristy Tassin Austin and Melissa Tassin Boudreaux as well as the great-grandmother of Kirsten Tassin, Collin Cedotal, Aidan Cedotal and Lucas Austin. Sister of Eula Foret Champagne, and the late Simon Foret, Merrill Foret, Alcide Foret and Hubby Foret. She was a Parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 234 Angus Drive, Luling, LA 70070. Visitation will be held from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be held. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
