Obituary of Alice Kinler Gambino
Alice Kinler Gambino, of Marrero, Louisiana went into Eternal rest on Friday, September 16th, 2022 at the age of 88. Alice was born in Luling, Louisiana to the late Edwin and Lyvie Kinler. She is preceded in death by the father of her children Raymond Vedros to whom she was married to for 9 years before his passing. She was married to the late Peter Gambino, III before his passing in 2002. Devoted mother of Debra V. Ramey (the late Joe Ramey), the late Darrell A. Vedros, and the late Marc E. Vedros. Loving step-mother of Dwain Gambino (Carol) and Sheila Cambre (Clint). Loving Granny of Heidi R. Meaux (Danny), Kelly K. Knight (Gary), Brandy K. Ford (Robert), Katie Jo Doubleday (Robert), Dwain Gambino Jr., and Brett Gambino. Great Grandmother of Kirsten, Leah, Brianna, Ella, and Brice. Beloved sister of the late Rita LaBruyere, Edwin Kinler Jr., and Alvin J. Kinler. Alice is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends on Alexis Drive who are left to cherish her memory. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, September 23rd, 2022 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the Mass time. A rosary will be prayed for Alice at 11:00AM. Burial will follow Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Cemetery in Westwego, Louisiana.
