Alvin "Aj" Naquin, Sr.

Alvin “AJ” Naquin Sr. passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016. He is survived by his wife Linda Goodwin Naquin. He was a loving father of 8 children: Rodney Naquin(Beverly), Milton “Wayne” Naquin(Lari), the late Dennis Naquin, Sandra “Sissy” Scheffler, Alvin “Bubba” Naquin Jr.(Tammy), Belinda Stein(Allen), Lewis Naquin (Kathy) and Troy Naquin. He was the loving grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 4 of his siblings; Hazel Rodrigues (Lloyd), Leroy Naquin (Beverly), Gloria Villar (John) and Harris Naquin (Lisa). He is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children Sandra Goodwin Naquin, his parents Lawrence and Leonise Naquin, his 7 siblings; Nalton “Pee Wee” Naquin, Azola Leonard, Enola McNeeley, Errol Naquin, Lawrence Naquin, Jerry Naquin and Helen Akins.

Alvin retired from Del Tide after many years of service. He enjoyed spending time at his camp and RVing, but most of all spending time with his loving family. AJ will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La 70072, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 9:30AM till 11:30AM. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:30AM. Inurnment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale, La. Condolences may be expressed at www.westsideleitzeagan.com
