Andrew Joseph Perrin Jr.

Andrew "DooDoo" Perrin, Jr. passed away on September 8, 2024 at the age of 69. He was born in Marrero, Louisiana on January 20, 1955 to the late Andrew Joseph Perrin, Sr. and Theresa Roberts Perrin. Husband of Jodie Cortez Perrin. Father of Edwin Cortez (Amber). Proud grandfather of Edwin Cortez, Jr., Myla Aromy, Brantley Vito and McKenzie Vito. Brother of Michael Perrin (Angela) and brother-in-law of Ricky Cortez (Dawn), Susan Cortez (Ashley) and the late David Cortez. Uncle of Crystal, Alexcia, Kyleigh, and Mykala. DooDoo is also survived by many nieces, nephews cousins and dear friends.

DooDoo was a lifelong resident of Lafitte, Louisiana and a jack of all trades. He worked at Tide Water Marine, C&M Marine and Lafitte Harbor, doing everything from fishing to helping out in the store. He loved to play cornhole, dancing, making people laugh but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. DooDoo had the most contagious laugh and did it often. He was one of a kind, always there when anyone needed him. DooDoo was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Catholic Service on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 3:00PM, followed by the visitation until 8:00PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero.
