Anthony Eugene Daldegan, of Marrero, Louisiana passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the age of 82. Anthony was born February 20, 1940 in Sopris, Colorado to the late Antonio and Rose Daldegan. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann Dunaway Daldegan for 60 years. Devoted father of Christopher A. Daldegan (Connie), Michael E. DalDegan (Phyllis), and Robin M. Daldegan. Proud Paw Paw Tony of Phillip Michael Daldegan, Ann Mae Daldegan (William), Nicholas Arabie (Christy), Blake Arabie (Nicole), and Cody Arabie (Aimee). Great grandfather of Anthony, Ava, and Ethan Arabie. Brother of Carole Boelts (John) and the late Mary Bourga (Richard), John Daldegan (Betty), Paul Daldegan (Dolores), Lillian Reese (Buster), and Pete Daldegan. He leaves behind his beloved dog, Rosie Costa Daldegan. Anthony is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.
Anthony began his lifelong career in the United States Navy at the young age of 17. He worked as an Aviation Machinist Mate and rose to the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer/E8 before his retirement. He returned to work for the Civil Service in 1978 and worked until 2018 for the U.S. Navy.
Anthony's family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Cory Cashman and his staff for their love and exceptional care in Anthony's time of need.
