Barry graduated from George W. Carver High School then enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was a Merchant Marine and held many jobs during his career. He was most notable for becoming the “Dancing Patrol Cop” and MTA Bus drive in California.
Barry leaves to cherish his memories his siblings Nathelda Jensen of Henderson, Nevada, Noel James of Corona, California, Roberta Crawford of Laurel, Mississippi, Thyra Wilson-Lenoir of Los Angeles, California, George Patin (Enez) of Marrero, Louisiana, Rena Kastris of Henderson, Nevada, Brian Patin of Bellflower, California and granddaughter Kanisha Sharp.
He leaves beloved wife Thelma Swanigan Patin, son Meleke Patin and many nieces, nephews other family and friends
He is proceeded in death by his parents Thomas, Sr. and Laura Patin, son Damien Sharp, siblings Olanda Patin Stewart, John Patin, Ronald Patin and Thomas Patin, Jr.
