Benwood Bo Joseph Parks III

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 8 years, Erin Sanders Parks; his twin boys, Nicholas “Nick” and Donovan Parks; his daughter, Jessica Townsend Lirette (Loney). He was the son of Georgianna DeBruyn Parks and the late Benwood J. Parks Jr. Brother of William “Bill” Parks (Tammy) and Mary “Angel” Parks. Son-in-law of Catherine Sanders and the late Charles Sanders. Brother-in-law of Steve Sanders (Shelley). He will also be missed by his best friend, Duane Ockman and his nieces, nephews, and numerous family and friends.

Ben enjoyed drag racing, building racecar motors, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife and boys.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service in Ben’s honor on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. In lieu of flowers, donations to help Ben’s boys are preferred. An account has been set up at Chase Bank.
