Bernice King Mazarac, age 88, of Bridge City, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025. She is the loving wife of the late Lindsey Joseph Mazarac. Bernice is the beloved mother of Vanessa Lynn Haak, Patricia Ann Brown, Bonnie Sue Staubitz and Donna Schyrel Mazarac (Ricky). She is the loving sister of Hilda Hall.
Bernice alaso leaves to cherish her memory, 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Buford Clinton-King and Bernice Tarver King, her son Travis Wayne Luke and daughter Teresa Oedll Cheramie, her siblings, Clinton King, J.L. King, William King, Frances Gaughe, Faye Bennett, Beatrice Walker, Virginia Smith, Ophelia Hillhouse.
A visitation for Bernice will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 at 9:00 AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM and visitation will continue until 1:00PM.
