Betty Ann Albert

Betty Ann Montet LeBlanc Albert passed away on April 10, 2022 at the age of 92. She was born in Marrero, Louisiana on April 27, 1929 to the late Sidney J. and Floride Chaisson Montet. Loving mother of Katherine LeBlanc Rader Robinson (Allyn) and the late Celeste Ann LeBlanc Baudean (the late Nick), Kirk LeBlanc (the late Lisa) and Nick A. LeBlanc (Deborah). Proud grandmother of Brandon Lee Rader, Adam J. Gaudin, Tara LeBlanc Walker, Jennifer Prins Russell and Dylan A. LeBlanc. Great-grandmother of Harper Lee Rader, Adam J. Gaudin, Jr., Ashton M. Prins, Aiden J. Prins and Axel N. Russell. Sister of Wilton J. Montet (the late Margie), Carl J. Montet (the late Rosemary) and the late Sidney J. Montet, Jr. (the late Orgery). Betty is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Betty was a loving, vivacious, kind woman. She liked to dance, travel, cook, read books, make puzzles, and spend time with her family. Her family was her everything. She retired as a Budget Officer after 30 years with the United States Navy. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, West Jefferson Hospital Auxiliary, Marrero Senior Citizens and Harvey Golden Agers. Betty was dearly loved and will be missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, April 14, 2022 beginning at 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, 146 4th St., Westwego, Louisiana.
