Betty Lou Ammons Davis

Betty Lou Ammons Davis, of Westwego, Louisiana passed away on Friday, November 11th, 2022 at the age of 84. She was born in Centerville, Alabama to the late Willie and Exie Ammons. Betty was married to the late George Willie Davis for 22 years before his passing in 1979. Devoted mother of Cathy D. Blancas (Johnny), Bonnie L. Anseman (Joseph), George W. Davis, Jr. and the late Connie J. Flynt and Dennis W. Davis. Proud Maw Maw of Tommy Flynt, Samantha Beckemeyer (Jesse), Gabriela Blancas, Benjamin Davis, Nicholas Davis, Jessie Anseman and the late Barry Flynt. Great Grandmother of Jessa Anseman, Jinger Anseman, and Archer Beckemeyer. Sister of Linda Islet, Debbie Coshat, Jacqueline Glass, and the late Gerald Ammons, James Ammons, Jimmy Ammons, Sherrelle Ammons, Jeff Ammons, Rita Armstrong, Alice Parkay, and Helen Porterfield. Betty is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who are left to cherish her memory.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, November 17th, 2022 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the service time.
