Betty Louise Delalcazar

Betty Louise Boudreaux Delalcazar gained her wings on July 29, 2026. During her time on Earth, Betty blessed many simply by being a part of their lives. Her kindness, compassion, and loving heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

During her early years, Betty worked as a waitress, serving customers with a bright smile and loving care. It was during this time that she discovered her higher calling—to care for and serve others. She went on to become a Personal Care Attendant, dedicating her life to caring for people with disabilities. She continued this meaningful work until her retirement.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rodolfo Delalcazar; her parents, Lela Rodrigues Boudreaux and Lester Boudreaux; and her three brothers, Larry (Verna) Boudreaux, Jeffery (Brenda) Boudreaux, and Lester Jr. Boudreaux.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Misty Delalcazar, and her son, Brian (Samantha) Delalcazar. She will forever be loved and remembered by her grandchildren, Joslyn, Brianna, and Brian Jr.

Betty is also survived by her brother, David Boudreaux, and her sisters, Sue (Chris) “Boudreaux” Burgau and Kathy (Pablo) “Boudreaux” Guardado.

She was also a beloved aunt, godmother, and friend to many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and loved ones who will deeply miss her.

Betty had a beautiful heart and a special way of making others feel cared for and loved. Through her years of service and her kindness toward others, she touched countless lives and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Though she has gained her wings and is no longer with us in person, her love, kindness, and memories will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Betty will be dearly missed and forever loved. 🕊️🤍

Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation for Betty on Saturday, August 15, 2026 beginning at 9:00 am at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. Memorial Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am.
