Blaine Mead Dorr, Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on October 22,2024 at the age of 80. Beloved Uncle to Gay Lynn Franks (Mitchell) and Ronald Miller Sr. (Mary). He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by lifetime partner Tommy Redding, Mother Elina Dorr McCarty, Father Blaine Dorr Sr, Sister Barbara Miller.
Blaine was a lifelong resident of the French Quarter where he enjoyed going for walks and especially walking his dogs. He had a love for all dogs. He also enjoyed helping others. In his younger days he was a hair dresser and owned Hair by Blaine in Algiers. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local animal rescue shelter in his memory. Services will be at a later date.
