Bobbie Mae Mixon Hale, a lifelong resident of Westwego, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014, at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell Hale. Daughter of the late Willam Vardaman Mixon and Molly Sanderson Mixon. Sister of the late Nelda Jean Mixon Garcia, Marilyn Gail Mixon, and Charles Mixon. Mother of Barbara Hale Martin Jones, Debra Hale DeJean, Donna Jean Hale, and Russell Ray Hale. Mother-in-law of Patrick J. DeJean. Grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 12. She was an avid conversationalist, who enjoyed spending time with those she loved.
