Calvin Grabert

Calvin Grabert entered eternal rest on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the age of 73. He was the beloved father of Scott Grabert (Robin), John Grabert (Katherine), Terry Grabert, Sr. (Kimberly) and Brian Grabert (Amanda), the loving grandfather of Alison, Mathew, Crystal, Johnny, Jennifer, Justin, Robert, Todd, Teresa, Rachael, Terry, Jr., Sara, Emily, Sydney and Jackson and the great-grandfather of 7. He was the son of Louise Dufrene Grabert and the late Hubert Grabert, Sr. and the brother of Janet Louviere, Hubert Grabert, Jr. and the late Pamela Constantino. He was the former husband of Sharen Osborne Edwards. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Calvin was a veteran of the United States Air Force stationed in Africa. He was a member of the NRA and he retired from Cytec with 30 + years of service. He was an avid hunter and he liked to read. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Visitation will be held at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1701 Bridge City Ave., Bridge City, LA on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until 1:00 PM at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be held.
