Camille Marguerite Naquin passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 95. She was born in Algiers, Louisiana on January 5, 1928 to the late Camille and Marguerite Pitre. Wife of the late Erwin Guillot, Sr. and the late Kenneth Naquin. Loving mother of Camille Simpson (Daniel), Erwin Guillot, Jr., Thomas Guillot (Annette), Michele Aucoin (Jude) and the late Charles Guillot "Loggy". Step-mother of Kenneth Naquin (Janice), Leon Naquin and Gwen Foto (Chuck). Proud grandmother of Ryan Simpson (Nancy), Chae Guillot, Evan Guillot (Kodi), Jacob Guillot, and Lauren Guillot and great-grandmother of Raelynn and Tanner Guillot. Sister of Richard Pitre (Laura) and the late Pansy Smith. Camille is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Camille was a very brave and adventurous woman. She enjoyed camping, hiking, sailing, studying the Bible and watching the sunset over the cane fields. Most of all, she loved her family. As a young widow, Camille raised her children by herself. She also lovingly cared for her parents in her home in their later years.
A private memorial graveside will be held at a later date.
