Carissima "Kris" Fisher

Carissima "Kris" Rita Jacinta Rojas Fisher went Home on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 at the age of 63. She was a life long resident of Lafitte, Louisiana and was born to the late Ernest M. Rojas and Beatrice Agoff Rojas. Carissima was married to Kirk A. Fisher for a loving 42 years. Devoted mother to Lee A. Fisher and Maw Maw to her two granddaughters Kinslee and Ellee Fisher. Sister of Ernest "Boo" Rojas (Cindy), Faith R. Moll (Jerry), Cleophas "C.J." Rojas (Sandra), Ignatius "Iggy" Rojas (Kathy), and the late Godfrey "Jude" Rojas, Gareth "Buzz" Rojas, Thaddeus "Ping" Rojas and sister in law to the late Karen Rojas. Godmother to Corey Michael Moll and Brandon James Terrio. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Kris also leaves behind her special friends Lois and Thelma.

Kris was a kind and loving woman who was very family oriented. She was also very hardworking and took pride in her job as a custodian for the town of Jean Lafitte for the past seven years.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nursing staff of Heart of Hospice, especially Melinda and Valencia, for their care and compassion. A special thanks to Sandra and Linda for the loving care and friendship they gave to Kris.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2653 Jean Lafitte Boulevard in Lafitte, Louisiana on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 at 11:00AM. The family would like invite the employees of the town of Jean Lafitte, Mayor Tim Kerner, Jr. and former Mayor, Representative Tim Kerner, Sr. and the Kerner family. Visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the Mass. Interment will be held at a later date.
