Carlton Rogers

He was the beloved husband of Pamela Jean Rogers, and the late Pamela A. Rogers; beloved father of Rhona Glassburn (Ray), Bert Rogers, Kristy Anderson (Richard), Michael Jackson, David Jackson, Stephen Jackson (Sara), as well as the late Randy Michael Rogers, and Tony Rogers; stepfather of Laura Spencer (Scott) and Paul Labit (Heather); son of the late Edmond and Dorothy Rogers; brother of Annette Rogers, as well as the late Genevieve Turner and Idamae Genusa. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who all loved him dearly.

A native of New Orleans, he has lived in Tennessee since 2005, moving from Memphis to his forever country home in Burlison. He was an industrial electrician who worked for SECO Inc, Meitec, and Grand Isle Shipyard. He officially retired in 2011, however worked various jobs because of his inability to stay still. The past few years, he has kept busy doing some of his favorite things, such as driving and talking to people as a parts man with Mississippi Limestone. He loved his family greatly, and did love his Pams.

A visitation for Carlton will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
