Carmen was married to Ronald White, Sr., for 23 years.
She is the loving mother of Louis Earl McKinion, the late Eric Joseph McKinion and stepson Ronald White, Jr. Beloved grandmother of Arleigh Mae McKinion, Arlin Manual McKinion, Anelia Marie McKinion and the late Joshua Louis Payne. She is the sister of Debbie DeFiore DeSelle and the late Anthony "Tony" DeFiore.
Carmen is the loving aunt of Lance DeFiore, Tony DeFiore, Jr., and Cody DeSelle.
She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Gloria Odoyne DeFiore.
Carmen loved the water especially fishing. She also loved crafts, cooking and good Cajun and Italian food.
Carmen was the personal secretary to Sam Walton (founder of Sam's and Walmart). She was an office manager of Wallace Lumber Yard in Mississippi, a licensed notary in Mississippi and she was also a bartender.
Visitation will be held at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, Louisiana 70072, on September 18, 2026, from 8:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Religious Ceremony at the same location from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
A Committal Service will take place at St. Pius X Cemetery, 8151 Barataria Blvd, Marrero, Louisiana, on September 18, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:15 pm.
