Carolyn Baldwin Moore passed away on August 8, 2026 at the age of 80. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Albert and Agnes Baldwin. Devoted wife of 54 years to the late Arthur Stephen Moore, Jr. Loving mother of Kim Moore White (George) and the late Arthur Stephen Moore, III. Sister of Kathleen Jeansonne (the late Donald), Albert Baldwin, Jr. (Linda), Larry Baldwin and the late Paul Baldwin and Michael Baldwin. Proud aunt of Donald and Glen Jeansonne and family. Carolyn is also survived by her fur-baby, Minnie, grand-dogs Roxie, Lucy and Frankie, her best friend, Barbara Adams along with other extended family and friends.
Carolyn found joy in the simple things in life and especially loved spending time with her family. Carolyn enjoyed going to the casino, eating boiled crawfish and crabs, and watching her favorite television shows, including *Chicago P.D.*, *Yellowstone*, *Landman*, and *Tulsa King*. She also had a special fondness for Elvis and enjoyed bowling.
Family was at the heart of Carolyn’s life. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Arthur, and treasured the love and memories they shared. She also held a special place in her heart for her son-in-law, George, whom she loved like a son.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her sister Kitty for the loving care, support, and companionship she gave Carolyn. Her kindness and presence meant so much to them.
Carolyn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation for Carolyn on Friday, August 21, 2026 beginning at 9:00 am at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. The Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 am in burial will immediately follow at Cypress Grove Cemetery in New Orleans.
