Carroll Thomas “Pie” “Boss Hog” LeBlanc entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 12:22 am at Tulane University Medical Center. Devoted and beloved husband of 59 ½ years to Emma Lou Egan LeBlanc. Loving father of Vanessa LeBlanc Melancon (Edward), Gwyneth LeBlanc Martinez (Glenn), Edith LeBlanc Sicuro (Frank, Jr.), Cecile LeBlanc Guidry (Companion, Mike), Karl Joseph LeBlanc (Karen), Hollie LeBlanc Russell (John, Sr.), Monica LeBlanc Johnson (David) and the late Marcel Thomas LeBlanc (Linda). A proud grandfather of Frank (Korilyn), Jennifer (Gene), Nicole (Ryan), Melissa (Scott), Ashleigh (Michael), Mark (Kristi), Malcolm, John, Cody, James, Lonnie and Chris. A great grandfather of Kristen, Alexis, Cameron, Devin, Carly, Bryson, Addison, Cassidy, Olivia, Khloe, Amilia, Layla and the late Marcus Wayne Reeves. Son of the late Earline Stansbury LeBlanc and Marcelin LeBlanc and preceded in death by his sister and Marcella LeBlanc Lee and his brother A. J. LeBlanc. Carroll attended St. Paul’s in Covington, LA and at the age of 16, became a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. In 1954, he met the love of his life and they were married on November 13, 1954. From his loving marriage, 8 loving children were born. He was a member of the First Marine Division and a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 222 in Marrero, LA. He worked and retired from the Jefferson Parish Sewerage Department. Employees of Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson Parish Sewerage Department, Springleaf Financial Services, Wal Mart, OPI Industries (Houston), Northwest High School of Opelousas, LA, East Jefferson Hospital, Dunkin Donuts, Goin Postal of Pineville, LA, Professional Arts Pharmacy of Lafayette, LA, Base Logistics LLC, Winn Dixie, Estelle Elementary, Pace Analytical, NCR and Lucky Coin-AMA Distributing are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at The Visitation of Our Lady, 3500 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 5101 Westbank Expy. Marrero, LA, on Sunday, May 25, 2014, beginning at 6:00 pm until Monday May 26, 2014 10:30 am.
