Charles Cosimo Culotta

Charles "Coco" Cosimo Culotta, age 67, of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. He was the long time companion of Diane Hill; father of Matthias Culotta (Deanna Culotta) and Angel Culotta; stepfather of Nicholas Barthel (Rafaella), but he always thought of him as a son; grandfather of Allen Ballestas, Nehemiah Culotta, Braxton Culotta, Kyle Barthel, Anthony Barthel, Isabella Carvalno, Destiny Batts, and Alicia Bennett; great grandfather of Jessa Bennett; son of the late Leonard and Mary Culotta; brother of Leonardo Culotta and Angela Flaherty (Anthony); uncle of Jesse Flaherty and Michelle Gonzalez (Leo); and the great uncle of Jayden Gonzales and Aubrey Gonzales. Born in New Orleans, he was a lifelong resident of the Metro Area. He loved riding his motorcycle, driving fast cars, and mechanics. He attended Mater Del La Rosa school and John F. Kennedy High School, where he eventually graduated. He was a loving family man. He was a professional electrician. It has been reported that fish all over the region are breathing a sigh of relief that he will no longer be pursuing them. A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Harahan, 276 Oak Ave, on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 12:00 PM. Visitation at Church will begin at 10:00 AM.
