Charles was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Dolores Matherne Sr. and brother Edward Matherne Jr. (Wendy). He is survived by his Nanny and Paran, Michael and Cheryl Steve, sisters Idina Johnson (Tony), Brandi Scarbrough (Walter), and Crystal Stricker (Jay). Uncle of Ashley Matherne and Kyle Matherne (Kristin). Great uncle of Alani, Aleister, Jessie and Gunner.
Charles’ greatest love in life was playing his drums.
A memorial for Charles will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 677 Avenue H, Westwego, Louisiana from 7:00 PM-10:00 PM.
